Local Walks
Whether for a gentle stroll or for the more serious walker, the Island is the perfect place. There are vast areas of unspoilt land. Our Island may be small but it is possible to visit sand dunes, marshes, wildflower meadows, moorland, bluebell woods... we could go on and on!
There are so many walks we could not tell you them all, but we will provide leaflets on our unique Island Glens (free of charge to enter), coastal walks, follow the marked Raad ny Foillan (Road of the Gull) signs or stroll around the small towns following the heritage walks.
Laxey has walks around the famous Laxey Wheel, Valley Gardens or Laxey Glen Gardens, again there will be a Laxey leaflet for you to follow.
